Language School

On Friday, I got an email from CBYX telling me where I will be for language school.  My first two months, I will be living in Saarbrücken, Germany.

It looks like a gorgeous city, and it even has its own castle!

It also has the river Saar running through it.

One of the awesome benefits of Saarbrücken is that is right on the German-French border! It is only a 2 hour car/train ride to Paris! 

Needless to say, I will be visit France a few times while in language school.

A New Adventure!

This is the first of many posts about my upcoming adventure in Germany.In July I depart for a year in Germany with the CBYX for Young Professionals Program. It is a fantastic program that sends 75 students each year to be young ambassadors while studying and interning abroad.

While abroad, I hope to get to know my German heritage better, visit family and former German Exchange students, and immerse myself in the culture.

....oh...and enjoy some delicious foods....
